I think they call that, disavow and an assassin. I mean, if the ex-president is senile and says anything, how much credit will be given to the claim. It would be like using an Alzheimer victim to teach History. Still, I’d think that after a few instances if such an event, they might ‘pass in their sleep’. On the other hand, Clinton is the last president to receive Secret Security for life… so, in a sense… yes, I would consider that to be a degree of ‘policy in place’. Besides, no one listened to Carter when he was in office, there’s no reason to assume he’ll have anyone listen to him now.Jimmy Carter is 85 now. What if full blown dementia hits him over the head tomorrow and his cleaning lady suddenly knows the real reason why the US gave back the Panama Canal?
