That’s sort of the problem Windows Mobile had. I think in the long run though, the multi-tasking was something they needed. It isn’t anything like running Office and the Internet and the iTunes all at once, but having audio and then like… GPS, that’s pretty practical. Remembering to turn it off forcibly though, I think that’s kind of a mac user issue since y’all aren’t used to the whole multi-tasking on iPod / iPhones yet. Believe me… when I had my HTC it took me awhile to get used to having to go back and force-quit a program… usually though, a dead battery shut it down for me (I don’t entirely miss that experience, but at least force-quitting is not entirely foreign to me) Maybe if they allowed users to choose which programs would multi-task in the settings? Seems you can tweak a lot of things in settings… why not that too?You have to force-quit apps that continue to run when they shouldn’t.
