I awoke with a pinched nerve (I think) on Tuesday… hurt for two days. Normally I don’t like going to the Dr… but the pain was intense enough that I honestly gave serious thought to punching my wife in the face simply for speaking to me (I didn’t, nor did I give any indication that even the attitude had manifested).
I made an appointment with a chiropractor… this obviously needed fixing. He took some X-Rays and apparently my spine doesn’t curve, it just sort of makes hard angles in the cervical area and the lumbar area of my spine. Also, I have a few bone spurs on my spine and I’m way out of alignment.
Anyway, after my first adjustment… it felt great, like sex for you back.
On the other hand, I think I sympathize with women who’ve had bad sexual encounters a little more: You hear all these great things and have in your mind a fantasy on how things ‘should’ play out based on what you’ve heard, only to wind up with some guy who looks a little different than you imagine pouncing on you, grabbing you in ways you never imagine, then spasms for a few seconds so hard that your back pops, then as he climb off of you says, “ok, I’m done. You can put your shirt back on”. What, no post-chiropractic conversation? Can I at least have a paper-towel?
(seriously, my back feels fucking awesome)
